The West Shore Association is comprised of business's on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe.  The purpose of the Association is to promote knowledge of Tahoe's Magical West Shore through advertising, Events, Fundraising and our website listed above.  The West Shore Association meets on the third Thursday of every month. Meetings are normally held at Granlibakken Resort at 8:00am.

The West Shore Association is responsible, along with grants from the NLTRA, for restoring the 1960 Olympic X-Country Ski Trails.  The Association donated a snow mobile and groomer to Sugar Pine Point State Park, where the Olympic X-Country events were held way back in 1960.  Those trails are now available to the public.  Enjoy the trails of the Olympians!

The Association also sponsors "Opening Day at the Lake", held Memorial Day Weekend, we highlight and promote events including the 40's dance at Granlibakken, through the weekend culminating with the Mike Brown Memorial Fly In Splash Down at Obexer's Marina.  The Fly in Splashdown is sponsored in part by the Antique Airplane Society.  Seaplanes from all over California and Nevada fly in and make their planes available for the public to see and enjoy.  Come join the fun.  See our website for business listings as well as events past and future on the Magical West Shore of Lake Tahoe.
