In 2007, Oliver opened his first office out of a historic cabin on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. Seeing flaws in the corporate model used by real estate firms throughout the area, Oliver knew he wanted to create a brokerage with a new, personalized structure; one that encouraged agents to take initiative and become impassioned by excellence in service. He focused on the fundamentals of boutique, concierge-style service, elegant marketing, and attention to detail. He built a company culture that embraced a small community and the mountain lifestyle. Although he started Oliver Luxury Real Estate with only one other broker, the company quickly expanded. Soon, the reputation of Oliver's quality of service had spread throughout Lake Tahoe, and beyond.
